Cori was an absolute pleasure to deal with in every sense of the word...She's such a kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring person... She's an amazing teacher and so very intuitive. She guided me so kindly throughout the sessions and it was so healing! My experience with the horses was absolutely magical and life changing... Feeling such a strong and authentic connection with a horse is indescribable. It really opened up my eyes to so many things, and I see a big shift in many areas in my life. I see such a big difference in being able to be more grounded, focused, less stressed and most importantly: I see a real difference in my relationships. I was able to feel and see how nurturing I'm capable of being when I'm with the horses, and now I feel more confident in my role as a mom. It's helping me with my mother hunger as well. I'm also learning to be more compassionate to myself-which makes all of the difference...My experience with Cori and her horses has been deeply meaningful and life changing. I cannot recommend Hudson valley horse play enough!!

In early spring, we brought the workers in our new housecleaning business to TeamBuild with Horses, and I’m so glad we did! Cori Nichols has a deep understanding of the link between human and horse behavior and how one can work with the other in respectful and constructive ways. She also had translators on hand. .

Like many start-ups, the company had been experiencing some interpersonal conflicts, and it was almost magical to watch tensions ease as Cori shared some of the intuitive ways that horses interact. She then paired up the women with horses and introduced them to horse behavior while strengthening their own bond. Since the training, the women are that much closer to cooperating in the interests of their business. A highly useful and fun experience!

Cori is amazing! My girls (ages 2 and 5) had their first horse experience here and it changed everyone’s life forever! Cori’s teaching style is calm, caring, empathetic, and nurturing. She cares for the kids and for the horses and made their first introductions so positive and educational. We loved learning about horses feelings, behavior, and instincts as much as they loved learning to walk, steer, and even trot!

I don’t even know where to begin with Cori and her horses. I came across Cori’s place while staying out in Accord. I had really been wanting some up close and personal experience with horses and this was by far the best choice. Cori was welcoming and immediately made time for us to come visit the barn. She introduced us to each of the horses and explained their individual personalities. She then walked us through such a wonderful bonding experience with one of her horses. Thank you Cori for having us and letting us end the session with some awesome pictures 🙂

Cori provides a quiet serene experience. She promotes confidence and pride in your riding experience. Her handling of horses is above and beyond what I have seen elsewhere. You will have an amazing experience learning from this knowledgeable and caring person.
