It was an absolute pleasure working with Reese at LI Paneling! He is extremely knowledgeable about the products as well as the installation process! They also recommended Dany/Edwin of Hardwood Floors who were professional, courteous and did a great job installing our floors.

I absolutely love my new vinyl floors that I purchased from Long Island Panelling in New Hyde Park. Dawn made this whole process seamless and easy. i was overwhelmed with redoing my basement but Dawn made the flooring process worry free for me. With an overwhelming selection of options, Dawn helped me narrow down the right choice that fits my lifestyle, needs, and more importantly my budget. She was patient and understanding throughout the whole process that i would definitely recommend her and this location to all my friends and family and would most certainly buy from them again. i’m not a photographer so these pictures doesn’t illustrate how great my floors look or how satisfied i am. i’m hoping this review is helpful to anyone who needs new floors, paneling, ceilings, and moldings for their project - they have it all!

We are so in love with our beautiful, new hardwood floors that replaced the old carpet/tile that was previously there! Reese helped us every step of the way as we navigated the extensive options of both luxury vinyl plank and real hard wood that the store offers. Reese is truly a flooring professional and expert with a wealth of knowledge that he is happy to impart. He was extremely patient with us as we looked through many options -- trying to figure out the best match to run alongside the original spruce hardwood floors of our old home. Reese eagerly explained the pros and cons of the various flooring options we considered and made sure we arrived at a choice that we truly loved. Big Boss Bob and Little Boss Dawn were wonderful and helpful in assisting us with the purchase of vinyl flooring tiles. They replied to our questions with straightforward answers. We felt “at home” at the place. No pressure. We highly recommend this place to anyone because of Bob and Dawn’s royal welcome and treatment.

Our kitchen floor was in dire need of a make over, the stone floor was dated , and damaged in some areas. The original thought was simply to replace the stone with a nice ceramic tile, but due to the radiant heat under the stone it became a no go !! ( and extremely costly ! ).
Addressing my problem with the team at Long Island Paneling, we came up with the perfect solution , Vinyl flooring, it sounds hideous but believe me the end result far exceeded my every expectation.
Dawn the sales associate who helped (and now my new found friend), worked with me all the way though the project , even finding enough material when it was mostly sold out , her service was invaluable, she made every step of the way a pleasure ! Bobby the manger an absolute gentleman !. This kind of service doesn't exist anymore , sometimes paying a little more is worth every penny !
