I had the privilege of spending four weeks with Dr. Majed Zouhairy at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital and his clinic at Premier Medical Division, and I was truly impressed. Dr. Zouhairy is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring.
He takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and follows up closely with each patient. His calm and confident manner makes every visit and procedure smooth and reassuring. You can truly feel that he cares deeply about his patients and their well-being.
If you’re looking for a gastroenterologist who combines expertise with compassion, I highly recommend Dr. Majed Zouhairy one of the best physicians I’ve met.

Dr. Z is truly the best. I had the opportunity to rotate with him in the Gastroenterology department at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, and it was a wonderful experience. He is incredibly calm and compassionate. He takes time every day to teach us and include us in all the patient related discussions. As he often says, a productive day is one where you learn at least one new thing, I feel fortunate to have learned something new every day during my rotation with him.

I had the opportunity to spend four weeks with Dr. Zouhairi as a medical student, and it was an exceptional learning experience. Dr. Zouhairi is a skilled and compassionate physician who takes the time to teach and involve students in patient care. His ability to explain complex cases clearly and his dedication to his patients and team stood out throughout my time with him. I am grateful for the guidance and knowledge I gained during this rotation and highly recommend it to other medical students.

Words have and will always fall short. It was a wonderful experience to know Dr Majed El Zouhairi. A true gentleman in every sense, he inspires everyone to do better. I am so happy to witness that God still creates such great physicians and over the top of that such great human beings. Dr Zouhairi, lovingly called as Dr Z by everyone is a gem of a person. He is very calm, listens to his patients very carefully and teaches his students basic things along the way. He even diagnoses and treats things which the patient is not able to express themselves. His senior physicians look at him like their son, and he is indeed everyone’s friend. I have had a great time at this place witnessing magic happen in his clinic everyday. He is a team member and a true leader. Everyone loves him wherever he works, he engages everyone in meaningful conversations and the time goes by just like that. One does not even realise they were working in the first place. He is an amazing person, a great great Doctor and has a very beautiful soul with a charming personality. I feel I must have done something good in life that I got a chance to know and meet him. He brightens up everyone’s day with his smile and energy. We all wish that he keeps smiling just the same way always with the shine and twinkle in his eyes. Regarding the question of recommending this rotation, I believe this rotation is a privilege. I consider myself lucky. May God bless Dr Z with abundance of happiness, a busy life with the work he wants to do, great health and time to enjoy his hobbies with his loved ones.

As a medical student I would definitely recommend shadowing Dr. Zouhairi in his practice. Him and his team have been very welcoming and supportive during my stay. Dr. Zouhairi is not only very knowledgable in his field, but also takes his time to explain and discuss treatment plans and conditions to patients and students. He has great bedside manners, and is also a great listener when it comes to patient's complaints and concerns. Dr. Zouhairi is a great doctor and mentor!
