I wish there were more "Dr Francis" out there. She's amazing.

Dr.Francis has always shows genuine concern for my well being. She answers all my questions, does a blood test prior to my visit to review with me. The doctor has a very pleasant demeanor, and I am very happy that she is my doctor taking care of my illness

Dr. Francis seems like she never “knows what to do”.

I’ve seen her a few times, once in person and twice virtually cause I live farther away.

She’s prescribed me celebrex twice for my (what she presumes to be) fibromyalgia

I just had my virtual appointment with her. She says “Celebrex isn’t a long term medication, so I’m not going to prescribe it again until I get an in-person exam.”

In the same breath, she said “there’s nothing rheumatology wise that I can see. You can meet with your PCP, or pain management team or get another opinion but I need to see you in person.” She knows that she’s my second option from another rheumatologist I’ve seen. Also, doesn’t make any sense and is just a total waste of my time and travel to go and see her if there’s nothing “rheumatology wise” that she can help with, then why would I go all the way out there for her to examine the same pain I’ve had since seeing her, with no reasoning for me to even be there if it’s the same pain I’ve been dealing with.

Then of course she brings up weight loss, consistently. I’ve explained to her that I’m so tired of doctors dismissing my pain over me being plus size. If it were a skinny person dealing with my symptoms, there’d be a whole different conversation, treatment, tests, ETC.

She doesn’t make me feel heard and I’m over the disrespect and dismissal of my pain because of my weight, especially when I suffer from an ED (which I’ve expressed in the past and yet she still brings up weight loss as my one and only choice, and keeps asking me if I have a “plan” to lose weight…)

So I’m over it. I’m not wasting my time going all the way out of my way to see her when she literally said there’s “nothing she can do.” when Fibromyalgia pain management is THROUGH a Rheumatologist.

Don’t recommend her, especially if you’re someone who is plus size with pain. The dismissive behavior has been insane.

De Francis has helped me get my arthritis pain under control. I have mostly pain free days and I have nothing but good things to say about her and her practice. She takes time to answer questions. And is very interested in her patients well being.

Can't speak highly enough of Dr. Francis and the level of care she gives to patients. She's extremely thorough, takes the time to perform all tests and to explain her recommendations and is compassionate. I'm so grateful to have her in my corner!
