We went to Mamma Rosa on 12-6-25 for my husband’s birthday. I realized that they had Chicken Cordon Blue on their fixed menu, but it wasn’t on their regular menu so I asked the staff if I could just get the entree and not the do the fixed menu. Of course, as always they were accommodating. OMG, I died and went to Heaven. It was the most DELICIOUS Chicken Cordon Blue I have ever had and I have had Chicken Cordon Blue many times in my lifetime, BUT NOTHING like this! As my husband said it was mind blowing. Love Mamma Rosa great food, and great service. Psst….try the Chicken Cordon Blue you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went on a Saturday night around 5:30pm and were seated right away. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very enjoyable, especially with the live piano music.

The food was a mixed experience. The caprese salad was adequate but came with only one basil leaf. My main dish, the special Sole Francese, was excellent, and my wife liked her veal, though it had too much cheese on top. Dessert was a decent carrot cake, but not spectacular.

The biggest disappointment was the wine, which tasted like it had been open too long.

Overall, I’d recommend Mama Rosa’s if you go with reservations and order carefully—the right choices can make for a very good meal.

Beautiful restaurant with always delicious food. Wine pours are generous and the only restaurant in the area that seems to have a later dinner crowd. Service is wonderful. One of the best in the area!!!

We have had many family dinners here. What makes this place good is not only the good food and the pleasant atmosphere. But the staff and the owners make it work for you. They want to make you happy and they go out of their way to do so. You don’t find many Restaurants like that anymore. It is a place that we will come over and over again because they try hard to please us. And…you get value for what you spend. You cannot leave hungry. You eat with pleasure and you enjoy every bite. The wait staff is top notch! Fine dining at its best here! I highly recommend!

Fantastic place. Reminds me of the old school Italian places that I grew up with on the lower east side of Manhattan. Above average wine list, good service and above average Italian cuisine. Great first date place
