McCarthy's Grill House

This is a great little restaurant/bar. Staff is very friendly, and food is above and beyond all expectations. Try the soup. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent experience at McCarthy's Grill. Our group had rented the back room, which was excellent for a private gathering, and then some of us stayed later for dinner. The Sunday dinner special was very reasonably priced and quite tasty. The service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond. There was plenty of parking, even for a large gathering. Our only complaint was that the building could use a bit of maintenance, nothing which hindered the experience or impacted the quality of the food/service. I highly recommend.

A very nice place to recommend. Food was served by a friendly waitress. Every dish was well presented and tasted good. It wasn’t crowded so we had lot of privacy and could enjoy taking picture outside too. There was a party going on indoors. So the crowds were all in the party hall. Not sure how it could be when crowded but we enjoyed the ambience..

I think i was expecting more of a homey vibe both in a restaurant as well as in food taste. Overall ok, but nothing thrilling. Regular cheeseburger had just meet and cheese (no onion no tomato no lettuce, weird?). Nothing very homemade, really.
Do not come with a dog- not allowed inside, outside inly one table on the dirt spot, chairs dusty not wiped. Waitress very junior.
Such places i call them ‘too far too close’. Too far from the city to hold city standards (although prices like in the city) - too close to have the country vibe and taste.

Excellent Irish fare at very reasonable prices. Helpful manager who delayed the food's service due to us being slightly behind schedule. Full bar with several beers on tap. Spacious area for cocktailing or conferencing. Clean bathrooms and friendly waitstaff. Parking ample but a little tricky as it is all on an incline.
