Such a great place i got back into building models and the owner was amazing even ordered my model that was looking for some time.
Called to see if they had a certain codex. Store owner was very energetic and helpful. Sadly they didnt have it but was willing to recommended a couple places. Will definitely keep them in mind when getting wh40k merchandise. Thanks again
Been coming to this hobby store for over 30 years. If they don't have something you need in stock, Jim the owner will get it for you. Great selection of model paints. Great old school hobby store.
This is a small independently owned shop, with a heavy focus on war game minis and the supplies for them, but they also have board games, models (including tanks, gundams, and planes), TTRPG supplies, and a lot of other general geekery. I make a habit of coming here every time I visit the area.
Run by a super friendly and helpful older gentleman, who will happily order anything he doesn't have on hand for you, and is typically a few dollars less than a big box store or online retailer.
If you are a part of any of the hobbies he caters to, you NEED to visit here and spend some money.
A legendary shop that’s stood the test of time.
I got my start in the Warhammer 40k hobby here at Man at Arms in Middle Island, NY, over 35 years ago, back in the days of Rogue Trader. I moved away many years ago, but during a visit in 2025, I was amazed and genuinely touched to see the shop still thriving.
The selection is as strong as ever paints, tools, models, terrain, you name it. Whether you’re into Warhammer, model kits, or historical minis, you’ll find what you need. And best of all, Jim, the original owner, is still there. His deep knowledge and genuine love for the hobby haven’t changed a bit.
It felt like stepping back into the golden age of tabletop gaming. Shops like this don’t just sell products they build communities. If you’re anywhere near Middle Island, this place is absolutely worth the stop.
