Communication was fantastic. Shipped our saddle same day and received it in 4 days. Price was on point. Beautiful saddle!!! Wish we lived closer as we would be customers for all things!

Lets talk about world class service. I stopped in to Rustic Home and Tack after seeing a saddle online. Kristi walked me through the ins and outs of the particular saddle. To ensure it was the right saddle and the right saddle for our horse Rita. Kristi ask qualifying questions, I happened to have a picture as we all do of our horses/children. Kristi was immediately able to validate my selection and make a couple of other suggestions. Kristi then offered to come out to the barn and fit the saddle, bringing two other saddles to ensure we had the right saddle, I was blown away! Kritsti also explan the importance of a proper fitting saddle the negative effects, gait, preventing lameness, ensuring Rita's long term health. I've been around horses for 20+ years, purchased a few saddles no one has taken such a deep dive into all aspects of a saddle, an education well beyond what was expected on any level. I ask what would be a good time to come out, thinking the next week or so, Kristi replied, how about this afternoon? another blown away moment!! Within a couple of hours Kristi was at the barn. For all most two hours Kristi spent time fitting the saddles, explaining the pros and cons, best practices, teaching, first Kristi gathered Rita, of all days Rita decided to play catch-me-if-you-can... After Rita was under saddle Kristi explained each move, educating as she worked, answering all of our questions with patience and great detail, then gave a full lesson, a full private riding lesson... from fitting to a private lesson.. A super blown away moment!!!

At this point I'm sure anyone reading this review understands if you need a saddle, any type of tack, you want insurance for your horse, no matter the discipline, go/canter to Rustic Home and Tack.

What a gem! This shoppe is a special place, and the service I received from the owner Kristi was exceptional. I had a saddle that was my father's who sadly has recently passed away. Kristi assessed the condition and identified the type of saddle it was. She gave me the absolute best suggestion on what to do with it. She took her time, had patience, and was competent...I would like to add she performed this service for no fee which I thought was very generous. I look forward to visiting the store again for some shopping for myself. I had my eyes on a beautiful belt and hope to go back for it soon! So many lovely things you will not be disappointed in taking the time to visit. There is a beautiful selection of consignment tack. I highly recommend Rustic Home and Tack.

To be able to take a saddle out on test trial to make sure it fit not only my horse, but to make sure it was comfortable for me too, this is not something you come by anyone on Long Island. I am so thankful to have a tack store like this so close to home. Support small/local businesses !!!! Kristi is just the absolute best !!!!!!

I recommend this place to everyone, owner was super sweet and helpful, she recommended me a lot of things and was super helpful. She even took down my email to let me know when the matching headstall to my breast plate comes in. I highly recommend!!!
