Jessica, the funeral home director, is truly one of a kind. Her compassion, professionalism, patience, and attention to detail are unmatched. She treats families with genuine care and respect, making an incredibly painful process feel just a little lighter. There is truly nothing like her, she goes above and beyond in every way.

From beginning to end, the entire staff handled everything with dignity, grace, and excellence. They made sure our loved one was honored beautifully and that our family felt supported every step of the way.

Where do I begin to describe the superior service that I received from Michael J Grant Funeral Home? I had preplanned my mother's funeral a year and a half ago. I found the service initially to be respectful and fairly priced. But the moment of truth came when my mother passed, this event began to take on an even more concentrated and respectful treatment. All of the staff paid attention to every request and detail. Everything about my mother's funeral was done with such personal and loving treatment. My greatest desire was that the funeral would convey the love and respect that my mother deserved. My Mother looked really beautiful and it was befitting of who she was. The prayer service was really meaningful and it was a tremendous relief that I had nothing to worry about. The owner, Michael J Grant, oversaw every detail right to the very last moment when we got to Calverton so my Mother could join my Father. I never anticipated the high degree of personal and professional treatment. I am truly grateful for how this day turned out and I'm completely certain that my family felt exactly the same way. I can't say enough good things about the people, service and the over and above level of caring. They even made an engraving on the casket that was unbelievably unique and personal. I had never seen anything that beautiful and I know my Husband would have been delighted. They took care of all the aspects from the paper work, obituary notices to the choices of the thank you cards and prayer cards.
