Such a nice place. This orchard has all the different variety of apples to pick from, reasonably priced, $2 admission, no requirement of number of pounds per person and a discount if you purchase more that 10 pounds of apples. Very chill and not over commercialised. Great store donuts, pies, cider etc. Definitely will go back. And a beautiful drive from Rockland County and 10 minutes from the Hudson River Walkover Bridge. We had a great day!
We came for peach picking and were thrilled with the experience! The staff is super friendly and willing to answer questions, and the donut peaches were ripe and delicious. Would love to come back in the fall for apples and squash or slightly earlier in the summer for plums. We brought our dog and she had a great time exploring the orchard too. Thank you for having us!
Prospect Hill Orchard is definitely on my top list of orchards. It has a good varieties of apples and also pears in the late season when I visited. A short tractor ride up the hill is adding to the experience. Views from the hill are just unbelievable.
I have to compliment the buckets, it’s very convenient to have buckets instead of paper or plastic bags like on the other orchards.
Price was okay, $1.99 per pound if you take more than 10 lbs. great squashes selection too.
Thank you!
We have been going to this farm for over 15 years and each year is an even better experience! You get the traditional fruit picking with a variety to choose from. Enjoy a tractor ride to the different orchards, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful views and once you’re done picking your fruit, they have a delicious selection of fresh baked goodies and drinks to enjoy! This year they had an apple cannon the kids couldn’t get enough of!! Highly recommend for a true Hudson Valley apple picking adventure!
It’s 2 hours drive New York City to this location
Short tractor ride to the top of the hill is super fun for kids. Lots of great fruit for everyone. Yum for all the donut peaches and plums.
