What a wonderful B&B! Sal and Bev are the sweetest people ever. They go out of their way to make you happy. If you come on the weekends, Sal who is a CIA graduate, makes the most wonderful breakfast. Bev is an artist so make sure you ask to see her work. The rooms are decorated with different theme in each room and have air conditioning in the summer. Spent time outside in the pergola that has spectacular views of the Gunks. Trails and the Mohonk House are near by as is New Platz.
We stayed at this warm and cozy bed and breakfast in October 2023 and we experienced an amazing weekend with friendliness and top notch service with acute attention. Our room was very clean and we felt like we were stepping into a room filled with a lot of history of detoxing from the city life and much needed relaxation. The owners are a lovely couple dedicated to the true meaning of human kindness and what America is really missing these days. They opened up their home to us like we’ve known them for decades. We didn’t want to leave! Sal created breakfast treats each morning with Beverly by his side. Their dining area is a place where all their guests are kings and queens for the morning festivities. We enjoyed the conversation with the other guests and we all proceeded to eat delicious breakfast goodies like one big happy “Familia!”
We plan on visiting Sal and Beverly again, like we would be visiting our distance LOVED ONES. We not only had a great experience at their BB we made new friends and to be honest friends like Sal and Beverly only come about once in a lifetime. Thank you both for making our two days with you guys magnificent. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and May all your dreams come true for the holidays season that’s upon us. Love to you both…Pat and Jeanie Sforza
My wife and I went up to the Hudson Valley for a fall weekend getaway, and we stayed at this B&B. We had a fantastic experience here, the hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the space is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable with a king-sized bed. The location was perfect - close to Minnewaska state park, as well as several nearby towns and a few good restaurants.
The breakfasts were the highlight of the experience! One of the hosts is a CIA-trained chef and he made fabulous food for us - chocolate-stuffed french toast, a great frittata, and more. They serve breakfast at a communal table, which is nice for getting to talk to the other guests there.
We would definitely stay here again.
Staying in the 1796 house with Sal and Bev was exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast spread was local and delicious, and the living quarters were rustic and comfortable. Our dog also felt right at home and had plenty of space to run around the property. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back in the future.
This was our fourth stay and it was wonderful as always. Sal and Beverly are great hosts. The breakfast is amazing. Chocolate stuffed French today, frittata, sausage, scones, Fresh fruit, yogurt...... deliciousness. Our dogs get excited when we pull up to the Inn. They love this place as much as we do. It's location is great. Close wineries, shopping at new paltz, distillery and more. Lombardi's restaurant is great for dinner which is right down the road. Planning our next trip soon!
