Did a wonderful job cleaning my car! Will definitely go back and check out their Oil changes as well!
Great place to get your oil change done! Only place in the area where no appointment is needed, first come first serve, in & out, and very friendly service.
The best part, you get a free car wash done on the spot after your oil change, they did a beautiful job, even cleaning my interior dashboard.
It's a shame that they are the only "quick lube" left in the area, because they really don't care anymore. I've been a customer since I started driving 30 years ago, but today's visit was only because I didn't feel like driving to better competitors in Middletown.
Where do I start? One person doing oil changes all by himself, line of 5 cars waiting. Someone I think is the owner (older white male, only person wearing a uniform logo shirt) is walking around aimlessly, surveying the lack of service but not visibly doing anything about it.
Finally, 20 or so minutes later, another employee arrives, and starts pulling cars into a hidden bay, but that's after at least two customers drove off, frustrated by the lack of "quick". The car that was in the bay when I arrived took almost 30 minutes for their quick oil change, a far cry from the 10-15 minute standard the industry used to have.
The car wash that comes with the oil change took even longer -- because of horrible understaffing. One man at the entrance, also doing all the prep and doormat cleaning by himself, and loading of the cars to the conveyer. One man at the end, the kill switch, really not doing much most of the time, and one other man doing all the drying by himself after driving away from the exit.
From the time I arrived in line, to the time I left, was over 90 minutes.
The owner did do one thing -- relieve the cashier for two minutes so she could have a casual chit-chat with a DoorDash delivery driver, while the waiting room was overflowing with customers.
There's still a road sign blaming their limited hours and poor service on COVID restrictions -- 3+ years after those restrictions ended.
The parking lot has so many potholes, it probably wasn't paved since Bill Clinton was in the White House. I guess they do tire and shock repairs, and are trying to get more business?
They also do used car sales... and there's even a car in their sale lot with flat tires and a rusted out roof from sitting neglected for probably years.
No sign directing people where to drive for either an oil change or car wash. If you were never there before, how would you know? I watched two different people make the wrong choice and have to turn around.
I want to support local businesses, but it's so hard when they've given up on themselves. And it's not because they don't have customers -- they have more than they can handle with their understaffing. The wash was quite good -- just an hour longer than it should have been.
