Fantastic museum. Linda Darby was incredibly helpful. Admission is free and the building is gorgeous. Taking photos, especially in the little jail, is absolutely hilarious. There is a quaint coffee house across the street. It is a wonderful way to enjoy a fun, inexpensive day.
A really nice little museum in the old court house, with interesting exhibits, dedicated to the history of Glen Cove, NY. And it's free!
We had the privilege to be guided byJan Guga, he was very nice and the place is plenty of history, we learned about the Harlem Hellfighters, Butch, and about J. P. Morgan. 100% recommended
I went there for a Mock Trial event and found the place very interesting. There is a whole exhibit on 100 years of children's books. Upstairs was a jury room, and the "jurors" in the mack trial actually went up there to deliberate. The building has a rich history and I would recommend that you check it out if you have time.
I argued a mock trial case for my law class here. Pretty small place, nice inside. Acoustics of the building suck.
