Food 1000/10! We ordered the “mama griot” with black rice extra pikliz and bunon… bruh in HEAVEN. Had the perfect amount (as shown in pic) for drinks, we started off with rum punch (hold on to your seat) while listening to Kompa, soca and calypso. Marlene was a PLEASURE! Kept the drinks and vibes going. Will be coming back. Such a POSITIVE VIBE! We need this more on Long Island! Caribbean and positive vibes !
Ube ice-cream, Matcha Float and coconut Gelato. They all were delicious and highly recommend. This is a small shop and you may have to be patient.
Warm and inviting Haitian restaurant which we don't have much of in Long Island. The food was delicious and the service was great as well. My cocktail was yummy yet strong! I also loved all the murals on the walls. I'll be going back for sure!
We don't have a lot of sit down Haitian restaurants in LI so when we found out about this place we just had to give it a try. It's a very charming restaurant with a lot of traditional decor which was nice to see. Food was sooooo tasty! I went with a group of 6 so we ordered a lot of the items off of the menu and everything was a hit. Drinks were strong and tasty! We came last night and it was very empty for a Friday night, and the owner told us they didn't have any usual events planned for the weekend due to the holiday which was the cause for the slow down. They usually either have a live band or a DJ on the weekends and hear that it gets pretty lively into the evening. We will definitely make our way back for that
