Ruffino’s is a true neighborhood staple in Lynbrook. The interiors are absolutely stunning, and every dish we tried was so delicious! The ambiance and hospitality were incredible. Sal, Kristen, and Abby were all so warm and welcoming. It truly felt like I was dining with family! Santo was amazing - so pleasant, friendly, and made great recommendations. I had the Baked Clams, Penne Arrabiata, Salad, and Tiramisu...absolutely delish!! You can genuinely feel that they put their heart and soul into everything they do here. A must-visit! Can’t wait to go back! ♡

Great food, great service, new decor. Portions are generous. Pizza bread on the table. Veal was super tender in 3 of the veal dishes we ordered. One order of stuffed shrimp had 6 large shrimp cooked properly and the stuffing was delicious. Had the pistachio cheesecake for dessert, different and delicious.

Food was fresh and I'm Italian, tasted like my Mother was in the kitchen! Excellent! Service was warm and welcoming by all staff! Relaxing, charming atmosphere! I'm planning to be a regular there with family and friends! Sal, the owner is very friendly, he came over to our table to be sure all was ideal, which means so much to us! Thanks, Sal !

Edit 2. Eat it while it is hot because when it's cold it does not taste like regular pizza. All I taste is a weird cheddar cheese which I do not want on pizza unless I've ordered it.
The soda was the best part because it made me feel like I was back in the late '90s with the Dr pepper cream soda flavor

Original review: Not bad. It's threw me off on the first or second bite. Almost tasted like there was a hint of cheddar in the cheeses. There is no way it's just mozzarella. Slice of pizza and a can of soda for less than 5 bucks is a steal nowadays. I would definitely be back for a slice or two. I know on my past reviews I've been critical as hell but.... this was good. I wouldn't recommend it for regular pizza goers because of the cheese taste. After letting it sit for a minute or two after running this review I tried another bite and it's almost offsetting. Sad. But just a different taste. I'm arguing with myself cuz it's definitely a cheddar.
