I've been training at this studio for a few months now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions I've made for my health. The owner is not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and funny too...
Every session is personalized to my goals and fitness level, with a perfect balance of challenge and encouragement. The gym is clean, well-equipped, and — a completely different experience from big commercial gyms.
What really sets this place apart is the owner's passion and attention to detail. They take the time to explain movements, correct my form, and provide helpful tips on everything from nutrition to recovery. You can tell he truly care about his clients’ progress and well-being.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a more focused, supportive, and results-driven fitness experience!

Huge fan of Joe and the gym. My son has been training on his own for cross country for months and while his endurance grew his strength didn't. He worked with Joe and he was able to correct a lot of the effort he was putting in while giving him the confidence to try new exercises. My son developed his leg muscles around his knees and the strength to hold his upper body in position during the long runs. I just wish we lived closer.

I've been training with Elissa at Push for over 6 years now and I can't recommend her services highly enough. She's knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, and hands down the best personal trainer out there. As someone who's a bit intimidated by larger gyms, Push is perfect for me. The one-on-one setting is just what I need to feel comfortable and her no pressure approach actually motivates me to push myself even harder. The gym itself is clean and well-appointed and centrally located in Irvington. Overall, I've had a fantastic experience here and I highly recommend Push to anyone looking for a personal trainer.

I’ve been training at Push for several years. What makes Push a perfect fit for me is the private, one-on-one setting. It’s not a crowded gym—there are no distractions and no pressure. I’ve worked with both Joseph and Elissa over the years, and they’re phenomenal. Each brings deep knowledge, encouragement, and a real understanding of how to tailor workouts to your specific needs and goals.

I realized as a woman of a certain age that it was vital to get weight training into my life but I was never successful at making myself do it, even in a gym. I found Joseph and Push Training and it's been great. 45 minute one-to-one sessions that are a little different each time. Sometimes the other trainer is working one-to-one with another client but there are never more than four people in the space at a time. It's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere tailored to what your specific needs are. So glad I found Push Training!
