This is the nicest dedicated yarn shop in the Hudson Valley. I've been coming here since their grand opening and have enjoyed the community immensely. I highly recommend them to everyone from knew fiber artists to more seasoned. The owner, Sue and each of the staff have been so amazing. Any time I need support during open craft time or suggestions for a project they are ready to help and it seems they have classes and make along for everyone. I love the Rhinebeck Knit Along (always a crochet option too). Highly recommend a visit. Pop in and be inspired by the fantastic samples that seem to pop up weekly. Looking forward to the 2026 fun! :)

This place is what’s happening! Shop workers are the sweetest and patient with my color/yarn selection. What a local yarn store should be. Visited boyfriend in Wurtsboro an hour away, and would gladly make the trip again. Love the local yarn that’s naturally dyed- going to knit the “Rosie Sweater” with this.

Always love coming here especially since it’s always welcoming. Love that I’ve become a mini regular and Carol always says hi to me when she sees me. Happy to always return cause it’s yarn heaven for me. Definitely a must place to visit if there for some good quality yarn and accessories.

A good friend brought me to this very cute LYS during Labor Day weekend. What a pleasant surprised, I fell in love with it ( 5 stars!). Such a large selection of beautiful yarns and notions. I love how they have kits ready for sale based on your skill level, love that they also carry local yarns as well. They provide a beautiful display of their hand made items (great for inspiration and ideas). Their customer services is on point and always happy to help out. Extremely organized, free parking on the back of their building. A must yarn store to visit and in such a beautiful location.

A lovely little place. This yarn store is serene, beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and has a comforting ambience. All of the items and decorations are thoughtfully arranged. The shopkeeper is warm, helpful, and pleasant. She helped me find yarn for my friend who crochets (I know nothing about yarn or knitting). There is a sale room and that is where I bought my items — three skeins, one green merino wool, one baby blue cotton, and one black and multicolor alpaca — at very good prices. Jazz music playing softly, werther’s caramels and free WiFi! So cute and absolutely recommend to anyone visiting or living in Cold Spring whether or not you knit.
