Absolutely phenomenal experience here for the family! 10/10 can not wait to come back! The steaks and lamb are to die for. The chicken dishes were amazing and the drinks were the BEST! Solid wine list very impressed.
This was a last minute selection for a Saturday evening dinner. While I thought our entrées were generally pretty tasty, in the end this is basically run-of-the-mill red sauce, Italian at a pretty high price for the area. The calamari appetizer that we shared was most likely frozen, and seemed to be a little well-done. two of us had the chicken Albonetti, which we enjoyed my husband had the short ribs which he enjoyed very much but at $38 it is really fully priced.
Also…We were told that the entrées came with potatoes and vegetables, but there were no vegetables served. There was another strange issue when we paid the bill, we were five people and one person was paying for three on his credit card and I was paying for two people on my credit card, but they couldn’t figure out how to handle it. The final insult is that they add a 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. Obviously in this day and age everybody pays with a credit card so it is pretty shady to add this on top of your final dinner bill. If your restaurant is performing that poorly, raise your prices a little bit to cover the cost of credit cards and don’t insult your customers with a surcharge.
Sorry to say, but this place seems like it’s on its last legs.
Came for our anniversary dinner tonight. First I'll tell you about my wife's meal. It was fabulous and she enjoyed every bite (highly recommend the scallops with risotto). Now I'll tell about my experience. I had veal francaise with a side of fries. Veal was okay, nothing great, fries were from frozen, not even fresh cut. I tried to order a garlic bread for dipping in my francaise sauce and my waiter looked at me like I had four heads before telling me "we don't make that". Speaking of waiters ours was very inattentive, and we actually had to ASK other staff for a waiter. He barely spoke to us and seemed like we were actually bothering him for service. We didn't even know there were specials for the evening. We found out about those later, AFTER our meal, when we overhead another waiter telling the table across from us what they were.
Bread that they give for the table were two barely warm Kaiser rolls. What a shame, so many of our friends said years this place was so great. For the prices they charge it should be a lot better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Warwick Inn. We had the lobster ravioli and the chicken avocado. Both were delicious although the ravioli was a very small dish. The chocolate moose cake was amazing. The decor is classic old country. We appreciated the cloth head toppers for our comfortable seating, presumably to provide a removable, washable, clean headrest. The topper of our experience was our host "Lou" who was engaging, entertaining, funny and friendly. He was as also informative regarding our food and drinks. He created delicious drinks for us. Our servers were also friendly and attentive to our needs. We look forward to visiting in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating.
Amazing place. Beautiful, quiet place, with delicious food. I had the most amazing Chilean Sea Bass with pistacchio crust and some other stuff that i don’t know, but it was incredible, mouthwatering:)
Excellent service, definitely coming back.
Highly recommend it :)
