Everyone who works here is so friendly and hospitable. I had the fish tacos and the *special* martini. Love the view and the vibe. Also discovered that it's in Circuit area, so if you download that app you can get a ride for free back to the downtown area of New Rochelle!
Staying with my family in new Rochelle for the weekend I asked can I get some food drinks like some island drinks. They recommended me this place. Soon as I walked in I felt welcome the owner Rudy was very pleasant he recommend me what drinks to try. It was soooo good the food and drinks was very delicious. I will surely be back with my friends and and family members . thank you waters Grill for this great experience .
Super happy to see Rudy back - I adore the decorum that he has a created. It is bright, airy and nautical inside and out! Food is pricier that what "Dudley's" was but the menu has a big upgrade. We ordered the Mango-scotch bonnet wings, Branzino w/ platain and beans, as well as the skirt steak! It was all fresh and delicious! If you're looking to celebrate an event, or have a nice vibe by the water, this is it!!
Wow this restaurant blew my mind. Not only beautiful decor and great staff, but the food and drinks were amazing. Every drink was delicious and the right amount of liquor. Every ceviche, octopus, peruvian potatoes dish, fried jalea seafood dish was a 10. Nothing fishy. The peruvian rice insanely wonderful. The carribean ribs were devine and delicious as was the 2 kinds of wings and sauces. The tomahawk steak and broccoli rab and asparagus yes please. The salad devine too. The lobster mac and cheese was the best i ever had. The desserts fantastic. Loved the banana. Haven't had such a great experience and meal in years. Thanks. The best music too.
My date and I chose to sit outside to enjoy the view and relaxed vibe. The decor was beautiful, and the ambiance was chill and inviting. The servers were kind and friendly, which made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, the service was a bit disorganized. It took a while for our server to greet us, and two other servers came by to take our order after it had already been placed. The menu itself was also unclear — not well-sectioned — and I had to ask where to find the appetizers.
The meals were nicely described on the menu and looked good when they arrived, but they didn’t deliver on flavor. The food was quite bland, and my boyfriend’s chicken was undercooked. The mojito tasted more like lemon water than a proper cocktail.
What stood out and helped redeem the experience was the way the manager handled our concerns. She comped the chicken dish and offered us a complimentary dessert, which was absolutely delicious — honestly, the highlight of the meal.
One unexpected downside was the noise from nearby boaters at the marina, which disrupted the otherwise serene setting.
Overall, the location and staff were lovely, but the food and drinks were disappointing and felt overpriced for the quality. With some improvements to the menu, food prep, and service coordination, it could be a great spot.
