My son has been attending classes at UMAC for the last 6 months and we are extremely happy with our experience! Soke Andrew is an amazing talent with a true gift for teaching and guiding young learners. Classes at UMAC are challenging in the best possible way- students leave class with new skills, a sense of respect and responsibility and a desire to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. I have seen my son’s confidence grow since attending classes at UMAC. Students truly earn their advancements through their hard work and dedication, and with the support and guidance of AMAZING teachers. Not all students learn the same way, and Soke Andrew truly takes the time and care with all students. Try out a class, you won’t be disappointed! #ProudUMACFamily

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at UMAC under Soke Andrew Stigliano! Our two boys have thrived in this dojo—not just in their karate skills, but in learning so many important life values. From the very first class, it was clear that this isn’t just about martial arts; it’s about building respect, discipline, confidence, and perseverance.

Soke Andrew and his helpers are incredibly encouraging while also challenging the kids to grow. They genuinely care about each student’s progress and overall well-being, making sure that every child feels supported and motivated. I asked our boys what sports they wanted to try—basketball, baseball, football—and when I mentioned karate, it just felt right. And now, seeing how much they love coming to class, I know we found the perfect fit.

If you’re looking for a dojo that not only teaches amazing martial arts skills but also instills strong values and truly invests in your child’s growth, UMAC is it. Our boys are learning more than karate—they’re learning lessons that will stay with them for life. We couldn’t recommend it more!

If you’re looking for a place that teaches more than punches and kicks, UMAC is where real growth happens. Led by Soke Andrew Stigliano, a lifelong martial artist who developed his own unique style, this school blends traditional discipline with modern, tactical self-defense training.

Soke Andrew’s focus goes far beyond physical skill — he instills respect, discipline, confidence, focus, and bully-defense awareness in every student. His programs are designed to shape leaders on and off the mat, teaching accountability, perseverance, and character through every belt level.

What makes UMAC special is its sense of community. From women’s self-defense workshops to after-school programs and local events, Soke Andrew leads by example — showing that true martial arts is as much about building strong people as it is about strong technique.

Whether you’re looking for personal growth or a place your child can thrive, UMAC delivers excellence, integrity, and heart. 🥋

My son has been going to UMAC for the last two years and we love the experience we have there. From lessons during class, to positive attitude from all the other kids and parents/family members, and personal conversations with Soke Andrew to help with school and home problems we have been very thankful for all UMAC has provided for us. We even have been lucky to take advantage of summer and winter camp sessions which are full of fun and lessons. Highly recommend doing the week trial and seeing what the hype is all about!

It's really a worthy environment to join and learn . My son was quite shy but now he is more confident and stronger than ever. I really like Andrew . More than a teacher, he has taught the children all the great things in life. I have introduced my relatives and they have also started studying. Trust me, the dedication and professionalism here will make you feel secure and confident more than ever.
