The employees pick up on the second phone ring and always know who it is and help you quickly. The total opposite of the mega pharmacy chains we have all learned to live with. Owner even helped me change my tire once when I showed up with a flat in the rain.
This pharmacy is so much better than all the chain pharmacies. There personalized service is excellent. All the prices are very reasonable. And everyone is so nice there. Highly recommend this pharmacy.
Incredible customer service and deep knowledge. I was shocked to learn places like this still existed outside my grandparents' stories. If you need a personal touch at a good price, give them a call.
Tried to get a COVID-19 booster from both Rite-Aid and my doctor's office but because I am under 65 and not immunocompromised, neither would get me in for another 6 weeks. Then my upstairs neighbor, who used to live in Washington Crossing, told me about Heritage Pharmacy. She said they would probably accommodate me much earlier. And she was right! I was able to get in that very afternoon, no questions asked!!
But an even more pleasant surprise was how friendly and personable the pharmacist and other staff members were. While I was there, a couple of other people came in who were clearly on a first-name basis with the pharmacist and other staffers. There was friendly banter and a neighborly vibe. I felt like I was in a Mr. Rogers Neighborhood episode where business owners and townspeople regularly frequent each other's establishments and know everyone's name.
In today's America run by mega corporations, I truly didn't think businesses such as Heritage Pharmacy existed any more. I ended up being really glad the big retail chain pharmacy put me off for a ridiculously long period of time so I could discover this gem of a pharmacy to ensure more timely ongoing protection from COVID-19.
One of the pharmacists (who is also one of the new co-owners) was able to come to our home to give my father who has Parkinsons a COVID booster shot. We were truly truly truly truly grateful for this! Super friendly and accommodating staff. Also love the complimentary vaccine card holders they provided :)
