Updated rooms, so I hear. Newer utilities, not a coat of paint so to say. Actual replacement of items .
It's a really interesting place but I lived there for a year nice staff sometimes and house keeping was nice but kept skipping rooms but it's all good just stay away from the people that hangout and people who just randomly knock on the door.
This was the 3rd night in the past 2 weeks I stayed at The Village Lodge. This time the room wasn't very clean, especially the floor and extremely dusty and dirty nightstand, bureau and appliances. However, it was very quiet, absolutely no disturbing noises compared to last time.
The only reason I didn't give it one star is because it's not expensive. But other than that this place is a dive with old furniture and plumbing fixtures, and just an overall dismal atmosphere. Lots of addicts rent rooms here. This is evident from the random empty dope bags laying upon the walkway that runs in front of the unit entrances. And last but not least, you definitely won't be lonely, there's plenty of cockroaches to keep you company at night!
