Great cardio and all around life training. Sensei Bond truely cares about his students. He even checks report cards to make sure they are not slacking in their school studies. He helped me out of a rough situation in my life & I'll always be greatful for that. Sensei Bond teaches respect, discipline & mental toughness to take into the world to conquer those hard parts of life. He respects everyone from all walks of life reguardless of background or religion.
He knows his history of martial arts & passes on life lessons for all ages. Sensei Bond teaches specialty classes such as teaching seniors how to use their cane as a weapon, women's self defense, board breaking and weapons. He's amazing with the kids and gets on their level and is able to pull them out of the shyness to make their voices be heard. Sensei has even worked with kids who have autism and other disabilities by modifying his workouts and giving them the one-on-one attention that they need. Sensei is open to learning from his students. A sign of a great teacher.
Sensei Bond is well known in the community and helps out local charities such as Special Olympics & St. Jude's Children's Hospital by holding demonstrations for fundraisers. Both in the dojo and out in life, you can find Sensei Bond helping those in need by helping a neighbor or friend in moving their stuff to helping that little old lady in a wheelchair. He is a true modern day warrior.

Sensei Bond is an amazing teacher! He taught my daughters and I self defense and self confidence. We feel so empowered and confident since training with him. Great school for all ages. He truly cares for his students and their well being!

I don't know where I'd be in life right now without this school; I practiced here for many years throughout high school and couldn't have asked for a better role model than Sensei Bond. He welcomes people from all walks of life and backgrounds and treats them like they're his own family. The art itself (Ketsuka) is very well rounded, and while there are many schools to choose from offering a similar education, Sensei Bond offers one of the most thorough, as he touches on things that tend to get overlooked at other places, for example, meditation. As an added bonus, the school is also affordable. Sensei Bond concentrates on the things that actually matter, like teaching self defense techniques, and instilling good values in his students such as perseverance and open-mindedness, rather than how pretty the mats look or how many flashy trophies that can be stuffed in a window. Overall, if you're looking for a well-rounded martial arts education from someone who genuinely cares about all of his students, no matter their background, this is the place to go.

Sensei Bond and his school are wonderful assets to the Naugatuck community. He has a strong moral compass and is respectful of all around him, regardless of race, gender, etc. I have had many interactions with Mr. Bond, both as a teacher at the school (my husband is a student) and out in the community and he has been nothing but exemplary and pleasant. He is a positive role model for our youth as well.
