Chris Cote's Golf Shop - Southington

I had a driver fitting the other day at Chris Cote’s with Mike M, I can’t say enough of how satisfied I am with the fitting. Mike is extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of the golf swing and the various different club heads/shafts that compliments each individuals swing. I would highly recommend everyone looking to improve their golf game to have a professional club fitting at Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.

I had a club fitting here with instructor John Kim and it’s was excellent. Would highly recommend to get a club fitting here. They are excellent and help/ explain you through each step of the process. I had a great experience getting my new set of clubs.

I have been in search of new irons for a while and finally decided to go and get fitted instead of buying off the shelf. All of the staff here are incredibly nice and my fitting was with Connor who really went above and beyond. He took the time to explain everything and taught me quite a bit about the entire process while we were at it. If you’re considering new clubs or aren’t sure if getting fitted is worth it, I highly recommend paying these guys a visit

Over my two fittings the last month Owen who fitted my driver and John K who fitted the rest of my bag were phenomenal. For my driver I was set on getting a special edition cobra and Owen fully understood why and went above and beyond to get me fitted into the right shaft and head to make it a reality. When I went back to get the rest of my bag fitted John made sure every club I ordered was prefect for my swing and game level. From the grip to the club head he was meticulous and made sure everything was right. In both interactions there was no pressure to over spend or that my thoughts on how the clubs felt didn't matter. They fully made sure the clubs I bought were right for me. I would fully recommend this team for anyone that want to be fitted into a new set of clubs no matter their experience level.

Had an iron fitting at the Southington location. It was such an easy process. The hitting bay was STOCKED with every shaft/head combo imaginable, and the Trackman shows they've invested in making your session top notch. It was a cold day, but the bay was fully heated too. Connor was very helpful and knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to how much my game changed since my last fitting (10+ years ago...at Chris Cote's Portland location BTW...because I trust them). He got me dialed in. Even used a chart to make sure I was playing the proper-sized grip. He checked the specs on my old 7 iron, and let me know that the lie angle had shifted a full 2°!!! I should have all of my clubs checked after hearing that. Chris Cote's offers all kind of club building/maintenance/tweaking, and everyone that works there has always been attentive and friendly. That's what keeps me coming back. I even stopped in the store to pick up some Christmas gifts for my Son.
