Called office on mon dealing with flu. Made appt for Tues.,, was given a Covid test and Streep test ,came back negative. Dr BOGDANSKI VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE. PRESCRIBED ANTIBIOTIC . FEELING MUCH BETTER 2 AFTER VISIT.
Very professional doctor's visit. Dr.B. is one of the best. We travel from Old Saybrook and always have a position experience.
I recently had my annual physical with Dr. Bogdanski, and I can confidently say it was the most comprehensive and caring medical experience I’ve had as an adult.
From the moment I walked in, I felt seen and respected. Dr. Bogdanski took the time to listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, and explain everything in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand.
What stood out most was the trust I felt throughout the visit. Dr. Bogdanski didn’t rush, didn’t gloss over details, and made sure I left with a clear understanding of my health and next steps. It’s rare to find a physician who combines this level of professionalism with such warmth.
If you’re looking for a primary care provider who treats delivers high quality personalized care I can’t recommend Dr. Bogdanski enough. I’m grateful to have found someone I trust with my health and well-being.
I’ve been with Dr. Bogdanski for years. He is a compassionate and competent doctor who I trust. The medical staff is always courteous.
Doctor Bogdanski has been my Primary Care physician for twenty years. He never disappoints. He has a great sense of humor and always projects a sincere concern for my well being. Any and all questions will be answered. I'm not thrilled that he is now part of a group as I can sense the pressure of time constraints imposed upon him, as is the case with all hospitals owned practices forcing their own version of corporate efficiency.
Dr. B, as his staff lovingly refer to him, is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, a D.O., as opposed to an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine). This subtle difference is extremely important to me as he has the training and background to look at the health of my body as a complex integration of systems that all tie in together. My experiences with traditional MDs has been that they are usually just interpreters of medical statistics and treat their patients as such. The symptomatic treatments I have received from past MDs seem to be more actuarial as if they are simply looking up data on a table and prescribing the most likely chemicals that the majority of the patients have responded to with total disregard to the individuality of the root causes of the problem. As complicated as my health has been, Dr. B has always included me and my opinions as part of the treatment process, a very validating experience indeed.
I was initially referred to Doctor Bogdanski by a hematologist/oncologist colleague of his, also a D.O., a referral I have never regretted. In fact, my new heart doctor is also a D.O., the only one in his group. They all have consistently treated me as a team member and have always communicated with each other, even though each of them are "owned" by three different hospital groups (Bristol, Hartford, and New Britain). Each one also has very different personality traits but none have any sort of superiority complex. The only thing that I had to get used to with Dr. B is that he is more of a type A personality, i.e. he usually presents as very enthusiastic, or well caffeinated if you want to think of it that way, something he is well aware of. As long as that trait doesn't induce anxiety in you it is easy to ask him to slow down and reexplain anything that you may have missed. His long-term office staff are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about each of his patients particular needs, something that is becoming increasingly rare in many practices that have a higher staff turnover rate.
Bristol Health, I hope you read this as you need to be aware of what an amazing gem you now have under your umbrella.
