Davis IGA in Kent is the definition of a true small-town grocery store done right. Every time I stop in, I’m impressed by how clean, well-stocked, and welcoming the store feels. The selection is excellent for a locally owned market—you’ll find all the essentials, from fresh produce and meats to pantry staples and dairy, plus specialty and local items that you simply won’t find at the larger chain supermarkets. The quality is consistently high, and it’s clear the owners and staff take pride in what they offer.

What stands out the most, though, is the customer service. The staff at Davis IGA are always friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about their customers. If you can’t find something, they don’t just point you in the right direction—they’ll often walk with you to make sure you get it. That personal touch makes shopping here a pleasant experience every single time.

For locals, hikers passing through on the Appalachian Trail, or weekend visitors, Davis IGA is a dependable stop for groceries and prepared foods. This is a lovely, well run, well stocked local supermarket. The deli folks are super friendly and excellent. The meat dept is also very responsive.

September 2024 - First time going in here to find some kind of lunch. They have a large selection of prepared sandwiches to choose from made by their own deli. The chicken club on a white roll with avocado, bacon, tomato and mayo was very good. It's a nice store overall with many other options for takeout food other than sandwiches and for doing your general grocery shopping.
