Shady Oaks in Bristol Ct is a hidden gem. It is an exceptional Assisted Living my Uncle has been residing here since the fall of 2024. We moved from another residence and wish we sought out Shady Oaks first. Tyson and all the staff are outstanding. They show each day how much they love the residents. Each employee is exceptional and constantly go above and beyond. You will not find Nursing and a care team staff anywhere as you will find here. Communication and care are key and Shady Oaks has it all! You will fall in love with the staff. We are comforted that our Uncle is here and reassured he is receiving exceptional care each day, each shift.
This is truly a gem in Bristol,Ct. My Uncle is happy and thriving. We are grateful for Tyson, the owner and tremendous staff. You will not regret your decision for one minute.
We are so pleased with the care and service Shady Oaks is providing for our parents Joel and Jeannine. They love the staff, care, meals, entertainment and all around services they provide. Placing them there has been such a comforting experience for them and our family.
My husband was at Shady Oaks for less than a week before he passed away. I can't begin to explain what tremendous care he received while there. Not only was he well taken care of, but the owner, Tyson, and all the staff were so kind and caring to me as well. This is definitely a unique place with such a loving atmosphere. Everyone went above and beyond to help us during my husband's last days.
What a wonderful facility! The staff at this facility truly care about every single resident and it all starts at the top with their management. They are all compassionate professionals who make sure all of their residents needs are met. Shady Oaks staff has provided our family with peace and comfort know our family member is in good hands. We are so grateful for their dedicated service to their patients.
When the time came that my step father Alex had to be put into a home, I was heartbroken. I have worked in so many nursing and assisted living homes over the years and that is NOT where I wanted him to be. My sister found Shady Oaks, she made an appointment for us to see it and get some information. From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I was home. Everyone was so caring and friendly. The residents seemed so happy and the care there was exceptional, unlike any I had ever seen. The owner Tyson has such a genuine caring nature, not only for the residents but their families as well. He and all his staff from the nurses, aides, the chef, they made Al feel like he was with his own loving family taking care of all his needs. I have to say each and every one of them went over, above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well taken care of, even though he had his favorite nurses, It was more then I could of ever hoped for. This home and all who worked there really cared deeply about the care they gave and it showed every minute of every day. It is a top notch facility and although Al was only there for 3 weeks before he passed, I am proud he got to do it with such exceptional people that turned into his family in such a short time. Thank you to Tyson, and his staff, Shady Oaks definitely exceeded my expectations of what I hoped to find for a transitonal place where he could go with such grace and dignity with the care you provide. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you definitely are THE BEST!
