After consulting with Dr. Bortniker, I was able to finally resolve a life-long issue with my nose and sinuses via nasal surgery. Dr. Bortniker was able to diagnose and clearly explain the issue during my first visit, and he suggested a few different options I could pursue to address my breathing issues, one of which was surgery. Once I decided to pursue the surgery, the doctor and his staff were able to get my appointment set up very quickly, and he was transparent about the process and the expectations from the onset. The surgery went very well, and he was actively involved in the recovery process. Dr. Bortniker and his staff were incredibly kind and understanding throughout the entire process, and I would highly recommend this office to anyone experiencing similar issues, whether or not they are interested in nasal surgery.
I'm feel very lucky to become dr Bortniker patient. In just a few visit he was able to diagnose the issue no other doctor saw for many years. And the solution to fix that was very simple and very effective. Thank you! I would highly recommend this doctor!
I have had a great experience with Dr. Bortniker. Not only did he correctly identify my severe vertigo, but he was also able to recognize that I was also suffering from vestibular migraine. I felt dizzy, nauseous and just totally off. He prescribed meds that actually worked and along with vestibular therapy, this helped me to be able to continue to work and lead a normal life. I am very grateful that Dr. Bortniker listens attentively to my concerns and answers all my questions. I highly recommend him!
I had one or two bouts of vertigo per year for the last 15 yrs but last year the frequency increased to 2 episodes per week and the bouts were incapacitating. I couldn't ride my bike and i was afraid to drive. I thought i was going to have to perform physical therapy exercises to loosen the crystals in my auditory system after speaking to a few people and they recommended Dr Bortniker. In my first visit, he indicated the type of vertigo that i had could not be helped by PT exercises. He instead prescribed a medication. After figuring out the right dose over the first 2 months, i haven't had a bout of vertigo in the last 8 months. It has been truly life changing for me. I couldn't find any reference to this treatment anywhere on the internet. Thank you Dr Bortniker !!! I am so glad i went to see you !!!
Dr. Bortniker is a truly outstanding physician: he took the time to listen carefully, reviewed my full medical history and medication regimen, asked insightful questions, and only then proposed a treatment plan... Which was successful! He is masterful at his craft and his office staff and audiologist are also excellent, projecting reassuring competence and professionalism. I am delighted with the medical care I received, and will be a loyal patient for life.
