I have been seeing Ellie now for almost five months for an ED. She’s great takes the time to listen to you and doesn’t hesitate to help you where ever you need it and is always there for support. Shes helps you build a better relationship with food and to learn how all foods fit and offers ways to help cope with behaviors and urges. She helped me break some of my thoughts about diet culture and food rules. She’s kind and caring and easy to connect with I would highly recommend Ellie to anyone around.
I cannot recommend Ellie highly enough for anyone seeking compassionate, expert support in their journey toward food freedom and a healthier relationship with their body. As a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, binge eating, and other forms of disordered eating. Ellie brings both deep expertise and genuine empathy to her practice.
Ellie’s approach is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES), which means she prioritizes holistic well-being over weight-centric goals. Her ultimate aim is to guide clients toward intuitive eating, helping them reconnect with their bodies’ natural cues and break free from the cycle of diet culture. In a world saturated with restrictive messages about food and body image, Ellie is truly a gem and passionate about empowering her clients to find joy and balance in eating.
She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing, meeting each person where they are and tailoring her guidance to their unique needs. Her dedication to teaching food freedom and fostering self-compassion is evident in every session. If you are looking for a dietitian who will support you in building a positive, sustainable relationship with food and your body, Ellie is an outstanding choice.
I have been working with Ellie for the last few months now. She has helped me in many ways, especially when it comes to healing my relationship with food. She has given me the tools to take on intuitive eating and is very encouraging. I have enjoyed all of our sessions and will continue to work with her as long as needed.
Brought my daughter who was diagnosed with eating disorder. Ellie was very knowledgeable and understanding. Although my daughter did eventually require inpatient hospitalization, Ellie did help her during a very difficult time.
Ellie has literally been a godsend!!! I accidentally stumbled across her one day after realizing I needed help with a binge ED.
She made an appointment with me quickly and after a few sessions, I feel like my whole life has changed. I’ve been struggling with my relationship to food since I was really little.
I’ve been on countless diets and had surgeries to lose weight and I feel like nothing’s clicked until I met Ellie. She helped me look past the food to find out what was preventing me from forming healthy relationships with my body and food as well.
She’s so easy to talk to and overall extremely caring. You can tell she loves what she does and takes the time to understand how you can learn best, and applies it.
This is an ever growing journey but I’m happy to have a provider like Ellie on my side to help me learn more about myself
