So happy with our experience at this location. I spoke with a few other places and they were booking appointments before knowing if the insurance would cover any or all of the brace my kiddo needed, turned out they didn't accept it anyway. Hanger got all the relevant information. Fitted my kid using standard techniques and some modern measuring styles. They took care of all the insurance stuff & just called to let me know when it was in. Megan O'Shea is incredible. Her bedside manner is fantastic. She's so knowledgeable & friendly and made a hard experience easier for my kiddo. She also assured me we could go back to the drawing board if this almost $4K brace wasn't covered and see if there were other options which put me at ease as well. Went back for an adjustment a few weeks later & she was able to pinpoint what was making my child uncomfortable and fix it for her. Xrays at our doctor show a great fit in the brace. The front office staff is always welcoming & friendly as well. I'm thankful this was our first stop on the road of bracing.
Seaview Orthopedics recommend this facility to me to get special walkers for a charcot injury. I couldn't be more pleased with how they discussed with me their plans to design my walkers and the professional manner they presented at the front counter and Adam Hammaker for all his help with fitting my walkers. Top notch place.
I love this place. It's quiet and peaceful. The front desk lady is friendly. I took my son for an assessment for the helmet. After the measurement, the doctor told me that my son won't need the helmet treatment. He is just honest and didn't try to hard sell anything to me. I like this place more than Cranial Technology.
Kids. Am I right? Ugh. My son needed a brace. He wasn't happy about it and to be honest, neither was I. But here we are.
The staff here is great. They took the time to explain to my son what the brace would do and how it would work. I think they took the fear and uncertainty out of the whole experience for him. Once he was comfortable they measured him.
We came back a week or two later to try on the unit and adjust the fit. They were all so nice and reassuring making sure he and I understood what he was supposed to do.
A month or so later we went back for fine adjustment. Again, super nice and patient.
I don't have much experience with prosthetics. However, the staff here does. They know their stuff and are very patient and good at explaining the process involved.
