Welcomed by staff as we entered. Seated quickly but would recommend making reservations. Wait staff seated us, got drink orders and then food orders.The food was delivered quickly and cooked to our specifications. Food is very tasty and hot on delivery to our table. Also had occasion to sit at the bar and revceived same terrific service and food. This place has become our go to place for lunch and or dinner. They are closed on Mondays.

I have been going to lefty's for about ten years. They never disappoint! Absolutely love that they are always busy. Would definitely recommend doing a reservation online about three days prior! Absolute favorite restaurant in the the area, the food is amazing and cooked so well.. I've never had any issues and I have a super sensitive stomach. Their drinks are super good, a decent size and well priced. I highly recommend trying their winter drinks!! All the staff we have interacted with over the years has been so nice, from the bartenders to the waitresses.

Oh, and they give 5% if you're like me and like to carry cash still.

We drove by multiple times and we always see it packed. We knew we had to try it one day. So we went and it was so good. It’s like upscale tavern food. All the flavors were nice. Me and my partner loved the food and beer selections were nice!

8 of us went there to eat tonight, and everyone was pleased with their food.

I shared 2 meals with my wife and got to taste a third sandwich as well. All of it was high quality, very good, and without relying on an overabundance of sodium.

That said, I did kind of miss the insane amount of sodium found in most food at other places, though still it was very good. And far healthier, of course.

Leftys Tavern - Barnegat - Early mother's Day dinner at Lefty's. Been here a few times now and have never been able to complain. We had a group of eight, restaurant was packed, but service was still outstanding and like we were the only one's in the place. All of the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Their chicken cutlets are so good, don't know how they get them so crispy and delicious. The stuffed avocado, sweet and sour calamari, and clams casino were great. French onion soup was delicious. The schnitzel and spaetzel was delicious. Peaches and pork chops, and other dinners and specials - no complaints.
