1st time here. Greetings as soon as as you walk in Very lovely friendly staff ! Food was cooked to order and fresh. You get a bag of homemade tortillas chips and sides of salsa (we chose the spicy-but it fell a little short on the spice) ordered the brisket tacos a side of rice and the chicken quesadilla. The quesadillas were very large and overstuffed. Quite good flavors . The brisket tacos were very good the meat had a nice smoke flavor as well. So a different taco experience than your average place. Tacos were stuffed with fresh veggies as well. The rice was amazing. Cooked perfectly and delicious flavor. Just wish the salsa was spicier and less of overpowering tomato than a blend of multiple flavors. Overall very good food. Definitely FRESH AND PLENTIFUL. The staff stood out and were so polite! Will return for sure and try other items on the menu. Plus side it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy our food at the covered picnic area ! Huge plus.
Pass here every time I go to my dr, so today I decided to stop and check it out. OMG the food is amazing and very flavorful. You can see them cooking. Got hubby the chicken burrito bowl (Mexican rice, black beans, grill chicken, Pico & onions. It was sooo good especially with that green sauce. It was huge. Daughter got skirt steak tacos (4 in order) seasoned perfect, make sure you put the grill onions on them. I got the braised beef brisket bairra, melt in my mouth. Got to dip in the compo sauce. The home made chips got a seasoning on them that taste real good. will definitely go back.
If you haven’t tried Ma and Pa’s Tex-Mex BBQ, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best hidden gems in town. This place has quickly become a local favorite, and after one visit, you’ll totally get why.
First of all, the portion sizes are out of this world. We’re talking massive plates loaded with high-quality, flavorful food—and at prices that are more than reasonable. You get so much for what you pay, and honestly, it puts places like Chipotle to shame. The burritos here are not only way bigger, but they’re also packed with more flavor and better ingredients. That goes for pretty much everything on the menu—from the tacos to the brisket and sides, everything is next-level.
The service is fast and super friendly. It’s the kind of place where the staff seems to know half the customers by name, and they really make you feel welcome. Even when it’s busy, they keep things moving.
Just keep in mind—it’s a small place with limited seating, so if you’re planning to eat there during a rush, it can get crowded. Ordering ahead during peak hours is definitely the move, especially if you’re trying to avoid a wait.
All in all, Ma and Pa’s is hands-down the best Tex-Mex and BBQ combo in the area. Generous portions, killer flavors, and that warm local charm—you really can’t ask for more.
Came in for a quick snack on a Saturday around 3pm. Not crowded at all during that time. The place is a really small interior with no places to sit except outside on picnic tables with umbrellas. After ordering you're given a beeper to pick up your food when ready.
Cashier was a bit smug but friendly enough. We decided to get the chicken nachos. Didn't have to wait too long for it to be done. The nachos were awesome. Crispy chips and the veggies were super fresh. I like that the cheese sauce is on the side to prevent your nachos from getting soggy.
The chicken was flavorful had good texture. Great flavors and good quantity for the price. Looking forward to coming back when I'm in town to try their other dishes.
