The room and building were gorgeous. We were in room 4 with a lovely bathroom with a whirlpool bath. The services were not great- we were told 8-9:30 there was a made to order breakfast, but we got there at 8:45 and were given mediocre scrambled eggs, a bit of sausage and a bowl of berries. Another guest arrived shortly before 9:30 and they did not receive any food.

The only staff we interacted with were from a text before we arrived with information about getting in and questions about dietary needs for breakfast- which were not particularly met by the chef in the morning.

A lovely garden in the back that was not very well maintained - but we were there in November.
Really nice little town with a handful of shops and restaurants and a gorgeous view by the river.

My husband and I stayed in room 1, with 2 single beds. We were allowed to drop off our overnight bags early, because we had an event to attend that afternoon. We knew that we would not be back to the Lily Inn B&B until early evening. I was texted the code to get into the Inn, and we dropped off our overnight bags. Which we appreciated. No one was around when we arrived a little after 5:30 in the evening at the Inn. The Inn was dark, deserted and I felt as if I was in an air B-n-B, and not a Bed and Breakfast or an Inn! The house itself is lovely. But in need of some upgrades, refurbishing and a good cleaning! The couches and chairs in the sitting room and little lounge upstairs were very uncomfortable. Our room had one tinny end table for both beds, and no desk tops to set anything down upon! The furniture in our room was very uncomfortable and the beds were very squeaky during the night. The pillows on the bed were old and practically flat. My husband and I took a walk down High Street after our arrival. It seemed like a nice community that has passed its prime. The staff that I had interactions with were cooperative and helpful. Germany who made our eggs and bacon was very nice and accommodating. But, we had to get our own coffee and put our English muffins in the toaster, if we wanted them toasted! The entire experience was very odd and it is not an actual Bed and Breakfast or an Inn from my experience! We were pretty much on our own, and unfortunately we will not be back or recommend the Lily Inn B&B to anyone.

Neat little place in Burlington, NJ. Reasonably clean. Older home, converted with creaky floors and thin walls. Location is 10 minutes from Bristol Borough which was were we had dinner. My wife prefers a later wake up so the 8-930 breakfast option was not used. There was opportunity to park on the street but the host suggested a spot behind the firehouse which is a 2 minute walk. Details were vague, would have preferred a TV in the room but they had a neat common room with available TV. Bed was raised that required a step stool to gain access. Could be an issue for folks with limited mobility. Overall it was an above average experience.

My husband and I spent a night at the Lily Inn and had a great time! The house has so much history throughout. Our room was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast the next day was plentiful to say the least! The woman preparing everything was so sweet and accommodating. We also loved that the b&b was just a short walk away from great restaurants and the Delaware River. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay at The Lily Inn again
