Tranz Connection

I am a local business owner. One of my trucks transmission went bad. We knew it was shot. We have never used Tranz, but knew they have been around for a long time growing up in Toms River. So instead of searching for a company that could replace the transmission, go out and get several estimates ect. We called Tranz first because as another local business we recognize if you have been established for a long time that says something right there. We were not disappointed. Brought our 2017 Silverado pick-up in on Monday, Bobby called us on Tuesday and told us what we already knew. We needed a new transmission. When we came in Monday he gave us an estimate of the cost if a new transmissions was needed. He was exactly at the pricing we anticipated and the final price was exactly in his estimate range. There was one thing we did not anticipate with Tranz Connection. Bobby told us on Tuesday after we gave approval that he would get right on it and we would have the truck back by Wednesday or Thursday. He called Wednesday afternoon and said it was finished. We are so thankful to get one of our company vehicles back and keep us rolling with basically zero delay. His shop is clean, meticulous and everything was well communicated throughout the process. I will be using Tranz Connection for my companies fleet going forward for all of our vehicle service and repairs.

Should be 10 stars! Safely back on the road thanks to Bobby and his crew. It means so much to have a honest mechanic tell you what’s really wrong and fix it the first time! Bobby is the best! He is one of the few old school mechanics still around, the guy really knows his stuff. I know that over the years I have saved so much money by using his service. He is the most trustworthy guy around.

Bobby is incredible. He is a locally owned business and knows automotive repair! He is thorough, honest, caring and my family can not thank him enough for all the repairs on our vehicles. His transmission repair is top notch. He took care of our Chevy extended work van with a known bad transmission that the car dealer was useless in taking care of after repeated visits. I was turned away from a toms River dealership, and a manahawkin dealership would rather overcharge me rather than do the actual work.

Tranz connection has an awesome website that I was able to send an email and inquire about a fluid and filter service for my 2015 durango.

Bobby, the owner, called me the very next day with a brief description of what was involved in the service and how much roughly the cost would be. I was able to lock in an appointment for the very next morning.

Upon pulling up to the shop, I immediately noticed how clean and organized the parking lot was. I was even more impressed when I saw how clean the shop was inside. For a place that's been around since the 90s, you would think it would be covered in dirt and grease. Community medical center wasn't this clean....

I dropped my vehicle off the night before and was able to deposit my key into a secure lock box. I felt my vehicle was safe as i noticed the security cameras on the premises. Tranz connection had my vehicle for 2 hours and called me up to let me know it was ready for pickup.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Bobby, and he gave me a detailed description of what the service entailed as well as showing me my old parts.

Not only was service quick and polite, but most importantly, it was less than half the price quoted from an actual dodge dealerahip.

A week after my service, my vehicle shifts perfectly. It rides nice and smooth with no more hesitation and my gas mileage went up.
