I visited the Anglers Den late in the summer when on vacation. The owner, Tom was hands on. He was super friendly and super knowledgeable! I am new to the sport, and he went way above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and spent a long time educating me and answering my numerous questions! I also loved your store! Thanks again Tom, and I look forward to going out with you someday for the guided fly fishing tour experience that you offered!
Love having a local fly shop. Tom is very knowledgeable and helpful. I really appreciated the Fly Fishing 101 and 201 classes that was done by Frank. Caught 8 fish using streamers, nymphs and dry flies during the 201 class. Tom also assisted me in getting setup to start fly tying and even caught some of those fish during the class on flies I tied myself. If you have been thinking about fly fishing or even an experienced fisher you gotta stop in.
Excellent customer service! I ordered a few items from the website, nothing that I needed urgently, that the manufacturer wasn't able to deliver in a timely manner. Tom worked with the manufacturer to ensure delivery was made as quickly as possible and stayed in communication with me constantly about the status of my order. Very grateful to Angler's Den, and will order from them again.
This is my first season picking up fly rod and both Jack and Tom have been invaluable resources along the way . Some great guys work here. I have been to a few other shops in the area and none of them even come close to warm welcome you get when you walk in to anglers den. I encourage everyone to support this shop.
This is a great shop! I've been going there for a couple of years now. Always have a good selection and quality gear. It's centrally located so you could be fishing soon after a visit at Ten Mile, Croton.... or Connecticut rivers... Did a float with Tom last fall. First time floating the Delaware, Tom put us on fish and really gave us the lowdown on the river. Really nice to have a guide that knows his stuff and is more then happy to share some of that knowledge with us! It was a beautiful fall day and we had a visitor on our float! (see photo below)Great day!!
