Been coming to Bicycle Station for over 10 years. After being doored my bicycle was “totaled” by another shop in Brooklyn and I was quoted the price of a new one to fix it. Took it to Mike instead who explained each repair in detail and fixed the entire thing for less than $100. Still riding the same bike today
Mike is one of the best mechanics I have ever had. His prices are also unbeatable whenever I needed something done to my bike I would go to him. It’s really hard to find mechanics like him nowadays he tells you what it is and does not Overcharge. He is not a mechanic that looks at you and looks at your bike And see how much money he could get from you. He is honest, professional, and has tons of experience . He is also fast as he can be at fixing your bike and tries to get you in and out
Was riding my bike on Flushing, and decided that using my Nikes to stop (like Fred Flintstone) was actually dangerous. Took out my phone and googled “bike shop” and I was one block away from Bicycle Station. Mike is not only a good mechanic, he’s also a good guy! HIGHLY recommend
Extremely helpful, friendly, and professional! Mike will treat your bike like it's his own - 100% recommend.
Watching Mike fix my rusty bike is like watching an artist at work as he fine tunes each spoke, replaces the bearings (10) in front, a brake pad and runs through the gears all while he’s talking and sharing life’s stories. All I asked for was for him to take a look at it! A true master of his craft and a fine human being.
