“Above and beyond” helpful re: Parapet Inspection.
Larry (Director of Compliance) at the Brownstone Property Group was exceptionally helpful to our co-op. I am an owner/board member of a small co-op in Brooklyn Heights. NYC has a new L126 law which requires costly annual parapet inspections. I sent emails to five companies asking for quotes/proposals. Two companies sent proposals but Larry was the only one who first asked important questions: Instead of automatically sending a proposal, he reached out, asked for photos and explained what no one else took the time to do. Our co-op thought that having a cornice along the roofline meant we have a parapet – no! It turns out we don’t have a parapet. Larry went the extra mile when no one else did which saved us a lot of time, aggravation and unnecessary inspection fees. Much appreciated!
