The beds were broke. The rooms were old and dirty. One wooden desk chair was broken and I cut my finger on it. I would never stay there again!
This seems like it was a fantastic hotel 30 years ago. The common areas are beautifully decorated and the staff is lovely, but it definitely needs an update in the rooms.
There were stains on the ceiling and a slightly strange smell, but the room looked clean and well kept. There were some cigarette burns in the blanket and it probably should have been tossed.
Overall it was a pleasant stay in an alright hotel for a pretty fair price for the area. You could do better roomwise, but the staff was great.
