A nice place to see a bit of colonial era history. They have occasional events which are also informative and a nice change of pace.

I love Longwood. I love the historical fair they have every year. I also love they have music in the summer. Wish theyd do more events!

Lovely display of holiday trains. But most of the house was closed to the public and in the dark and seemed in a poor state of repair. None of the outdoors historical structures were open for viewing. This my second visit. The first time the house was completely closed. And the hiking path, which I read leads down to the shore, was completely untended and impassable for day hiking and walking. For a state park, this place's upkeep is neglected. And it's a shame because it could be so lovely, the fascinating historic home and acres upon acres of woods and shoreline.
