When we found the collective, we knew it was the perfect fit. The teachers and administration were so supportive from the very start and helped us to ensure that our son's experience remain fully immersed according to his needs.The moment you open the door, you are immediately ushered into a symphony of excited chatter, giggles and hugs as a diverse mix of students and parents greet each other, ready to start the day-- a day that may be filled with music, yoga, and time to run, play, read, draw, and create. Thoughtful projects celebrate the individuality of each child and their cultural and family backgrounds. The small student-teacher ratio ensures that your child will never be overlooked by the nurturing, observant, patient, and just totally awesome teachers, many of whom have been there for years! PSCCC is more than just a school, it is a place where the relationships developed are sure to carry on for years to come.

Best preschool in Park Slope! We only discovered the Park Slope Child Care Collective after our son was wait-listed at another area establishment. Boy, were we lucky! We are in our fifth year at PSCCC, second child, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made as pareents. I know there is no other place our kids could have grown up surrounded by so many caring teachers, so full of children-driven exploration and learning, so full of love and respect for all. PSCCC is such a huge part of all of our lives. I can't imagine ever being without it!

After looking at a lot of schools, I can honestly say that I think we found the best preschool in Park Slope. The teachers are so warm and I truly feel that they really know my child. All of my questions are always answered with a thoughtful and helpful response. Martha, the director, is involved in every aspect of the school. She even reads books with my son in her office when he's a bit tearful at drop-off. The level of communication is seriously unmatched. There is definitely a feeling of family between all of the parents, children and teachers. I feel like my child is always supported, encouraged, and most importantly loved.
