We went there many, many times over the years, but moved out of state in 2018. EVERY trip back we stop in for Mikes Famous chicken parm. Sadly, this is the first time it changed, the sauce is now spicy! We were all so disappointed in our long time favorite in our home town in NY. I think anyone who enjoys a spicy sauce will still like the chicken parm, but not for us who expected the original Mike’s Famous recipe. Also salad used to come with the meal but is no longer included.
Nice wholesome food that hits your tummy just right every time. Been here over the past 15 years with friends and family and have not had a bad experience ever. On my last visit I had their arugula pizza that was delicious paired with a nice frosty grass of moscato!
I have been coming here for years and today I realized that I never left them a review. Shame on me! Plated has been a favorite of mine since it opened. Family owned and operated, the atmosphere is great, the staff is always friendly, and most of all the food is INCREDIBLE. Fairly priced and hearty portions that would allow for most people to bring home leftovers.
They have a generous side room for parties, a patio for outdoor dining during the nicer months, and their bar is just the right amount of fancy without spending a fortune. I cannot say enough about Plated. It’s truly an East Fishkill staple and I hope they stay in business for a long time to come!
Dropped in with kids for an early dinner.
I ordered the seafood pasta special for $45, and it didn’t meet my expectations. Shrimp was overcooked, mussels were mostly unopened (I wouldn’t have served them), clams were tiny, and it was overall not appealing.
Kids ordered short rib grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Both came with fries. The flavor of short ribs was interesting.
I also ordered their punch, which was okay.
Left some to be desired, for a $100 dinner.
I appreciate this restaurant for being an option in a solo location outside of any center of town. We were seated promptly.
Food was underwhelming, leveraging an abundance of sauce and salt. Some of the dishes were swimming. Service was good with staff attentive to keeping the waters filled, tables clear at a pace that was neither slow or fast. Atmosphere was nice though some acoustics would be helpful at time when the restaurant is filled.
