They always take great care with my usually small orders. Fair prices and great communication. Would recommend them to anyone.
Today was my second visit to Precision Drum Company. Andrea Gary and George and wonderful people. They are incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly and truly care about their work and deliver results quickly. It is rare in the music industry to find people and company's operating with such integrity throughout every step of the process. I cannot say enough great things about them and I look forward to working with them on future projects. Paul Eisenberg Rebound Drum Works.
I had the pleasure of getting my drums touched up with some TLC. I wanted my shells to be trued and cut at equal amounts on the bearing edges. I also ordered new maple hoops for my bass drum. The small family team took me in and did the work while I waited and even filmed a bit of the progress for a video. George Jr and Andrea were there and the whole process unfolded in under 2 hours. I guess I was lucky enough to live close enough to drive there in person and drive back without the hassle of shipping shells, etc. I was happy with the process and cost and enjoyed putting on new heads and tuning my drum set. If you need drum work done or are looking for new drums, please reach out to Precision Drum and their family business!
Since I live local to PDC, I stopped in a few weeks ago and asked about wooden rims for my 13", 8 lug Yamaha brass snare. I was given a reasonable price and 10 day lead time. The rims were ready as stated. Andrea, Gary, and George were very accommodating with my phone questions about finishing the rims. As you can see, the work was excellent. It was recommended to me to use three coats of clear polyurethane gloss, each followed by #0000 steel wool. I am very pleased with the results!
I have a pair of World Max snares that had damaged lugs and needed repair. I talked to Maggie at World Max and she recommended I contact Precision Drum Company in New York (I'm in Texas). I followed her recommendation and worked with Gary at PDC. He determined what I needed and gave me a price. Once I ordered the parts, I had them within 3 or 4 days and both drums were quickly back in full working order! Thanks to Gary and the rest of the staff at Precision Drum Company!
