Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation at Goshen

Sapphire was blessing to me this past summer. My brother in law Thomas was visiting from Florida when he developed blood clots in both legs and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Afterward, he needed rehab, physical therapy and extended care that I was not able to provide. The Director of Admissions, Adela Adkins was a miracle worker in getting him admitted to Sapphire and making me feel confident that he would have a successful recovery. Jen - head of nursing is so compassionate and resourceful in all she does. The entire staff was wonderful and caring. I am happy to say that Thomas has totally recovered and living his best life again. I will be forever grateful for their service during this difficult time.

My uncle has been at this facility for about two months now and I can not say enough of good things about the kind and caring individuals that work here. The nurses, aides and physical therapists are superb! My uncle can be very difficult and they have had so much patience with him. Thank you everyone, my mom and I cannot thank you enough. The Staff at Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation are AMAZING! The Nurses and CNA's at the facility are compassionate, caring, informative to family on updates or medical issues that should arise , well trained in all areas of the patients medical needs . They also treat the patients like they are family! During the residents good days or bad days they may have ,the staff is always there to encourage them to have a better day or share in their joy.

The P.T and O.T staff at the facility are WONDERFUL ! The residents that need rehabilitation and those that come for a temporary period of time to get rehabilitation to be able to go home , look forward to those that provide the rehab. as they are knowledgeable , very friendly , encouraging , and always greets the pt. with a smile and even helps the pt. get settled back in there room and not leave them 'til they are safe and sound. They greet the families and take the time to talk to them about how the pt. is doing or to just say Hello. They have an open door policy where at anytime of the day you need to speak to them, they make themselves available. Its a relaxing atmosphere for the pt. and they are well prepared to provide the best and safest Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy your loved one needs. They also provide Speech Therapy. My Father in law looked forward to seeing the staff and doing the work outs while he was a Pt. there ,very much so !

The Social workers are Outstanding ! They go above and beyond for the residents and their families. They can help you with being prepared physically , mentally for when your loved one comes home Or help transition them from living at home to now living in a Nursing facility . They can be support for the families when it is needed and they have great compassion for the residents and always go above and beyond to find a solution !

They facility also provides End Of Life Care. From first hand experience our family can not express how much they showed Compassion, dignity, comfort to our loved one and to us the family during the difficult time. They went above and beyond and showed that they are humans too and not just a " Job Title " . During difficult times we didn't feel alone during the process we felt like they were our family too!

Sapphire in Goshen is updated , clean, rooms are updated, always something to do for the residents, loved hearing the piano playing in the dining area on certain days, they have church services provided for residents and for those animal lovers they encourage you to bring your dog on your visits to your loved one if you wanted to . We felt that our loved one was safe being there and never second guessed our choice to go with Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation At Goshen.

For families that have to make the hard decision to go with a Nursing facility for your loved one or Rehabilitation for short term as well, I promise you this is the place .
