I love Second Nature! Wendy is a family friend, and is a pro at sourcing responsible food and products aiming to minimize impact, both environmental and waste. She has really embodied the idea of reduce-reuse-recycle, and is a role model for me in that way. All grocery stores should aim to be more like this one - the world would be a better place with more of this kind of business!
Amazing spot. Large selection, fair prices, friendly and helpful staff, and the vegan scones are delectable. I have been coming here every week all summer and will miss it when I leave!
This was the first refillery I've visited - and they made it so easy! There were so many more things than I expected... had to plan for a repeat visit with more containers.
Seems like a great alternative to a lot of the other grocery / foods stores in new paltz. You can bring your own jars, and fill em up with whatever you need! A BUNCH of options, pretty great! The staff is super friendly, and there are so many sustainable options. There were things from toothpaste to toilet paper, or from shampoo to free jars. Great place, and I recommend checking out. Not too pricey, and although I am not sure of the quality of everything, this store seems too good to be true! Looking forward to being a returning customer. I gave 4 stars because the employee doesn’t know if they accept EBT- if they do, then I’ll amend to 5 stars!
Excellent new store located in Zero Place. Wendy has everything from toothbrushes to popcorn, from fresh eggs to dryer balls. Greenest store in town! Bring your own containers to fill with the many bulk choices or purchase affordable reusable containers when you were there. Nice place to do some gift shopping!
