Sook House Restaurant

I've never been disappointed by the food here. The sushi rolls, particularly the crab tempura are amazing. So crisp and fresh. My son and I recently went here and got the crab tempura rolls, and I also had the Ellenville roll. We always look forward to bringing friends to the Sook House!

There is amazing food and great service. Despite there was one man running it he got the food out in less than twenty minutes for a family of 5. I highly recommend and hope the business runs on for years to come

Spicy Chicken, but spicy at at. No flavor, nadda. Grilled chicken and some veggies in a flavorless sauce.

Beef Teryaki, this has some flavor and a small NY strip steak. The meat was of decent quality.

I'm not sure why this place is highly rated. It also was not a pillar of cleanliness. The atmosphere was absolutely odd. You enter thru an adjoining building with a couple pool tables. There is a speaker and some sort of party lights. There a room labeled mini mart with the door closed. Then into the main dining area. There's a sign on the bar that says owner can not drink with customers. There were flies buzzing by us. We were three only customers.

Wonderful - my wife and I have lived here for a few years now and thought this place was closed, unfortunately it looks closed and abandoned from the outside. But DO NOT judge this book by its cover!

The inside is clean, the owners are welcoming, and the food is EXCELLENT. We have ordered a few different menu items from both menus (attached, different days mean different menu items) and haven't been disappointed once.

It is now a nice treat for us to order sushi and other dishes from Sook House when we don't feel like cooking, and we are thrilled to be able to support a local business. Try it if you haven't, you won't regret it! 🍣

Great food, great service, good options for vegetarians, not all of the vegetarian dishes were labeled as vegetarian, but the waiter was very helpful in identifying other options.
