Quality experience! The staff is professional. They know what they're doing. They care about making sure you get quality glasses. And, last but not least, the store is unique and has a lot of cool paintings and pictures hanging up in addition to having a cool fish tank to keep you from getting bored if there's a little wait.
I had an excellent experience at Stony Brook Vision World! Dr. Julie DeMartini is truly remarkable—she's funny, incredibly smart, and conducted one of the most thorough eye exams I've ever had. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole visit enjoyable.
The staff was fantastic as well—friendly, professional, and efficient. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.

So happy I went here. I just had a vision test at another place and got reading glasses. Noticed my distance was getting worse and found Stony Brook Vision. Well, thank goodness, I need surgery on my eyes and nobody had ever recognized I had this problem. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Highly recommended. They helped me big time!!!!
Today was my first time going to this Vision World. Everyone from the Dr. to the ladies working the front end were wonderful. It was a very comfortable setting and everyone was so helpful. I was able to pick out a pair glasses with no pressure about taking too long,because it take me a little bit. The Dr. was great, very patient and very informative as I had a few questions to ask. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Optical place with a great selection
Omg these guys truly are the best, i just spent a few hundred on a custom pair of prescription Oakley's and needed to swap scripts, i was prepared to refund the order within the 13 day return store policy, but nope that's not nessesary, swapped the old scripts for free, redid the glasses and waived the labor charge for doing so.
I'm telling u these guys are just fking superstars, highly recommended.
