Super cool place with very good coffee and hygienic restrooms.
Went there at 6:15 on a Monday and they were closed. Was looking forward to a cup of coffee from there for about 50 miles. Oh well. When I was going north on Friday night, I saw at least 40 people trying to use the bathroom at 9:15 PM. They really should consider a 24 hour bathrooms especially on the Taconic Parkway where there is nothing.
Stopped at this location on the way back from Ridgefield, CT. It’s a very small, quaint shop with a nice variety of New York local products. When we first arrived it was pretty crowded, but the line moved quickly. My son and I both ordered a grilled ham and cheese panini—decent, but not really worth $15 each.
The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, and there were plenty of outdoor seating options to relax and eat. Overall, I’d probably stop again for a drink and a restroom break, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy another sandwich.
This store is right on Taconic state Parkway. I am glad they have re-opened and have porta potty. It’s great for quick coffee, and restroom even though it’s a porta potty! They have specialty foods which give an inkling into everything NY farms have to offer. They also have grab and go food such as sandwiches, salads, fruit etc. The coffee is good. Everything here is a tad bit expensive but worth it.
