Although I am a regular customer, today I had a very disappointing visit. I was on line at customer service trying to buy an item, as well as, getting cash back. The gentleman ahead of me was telling a story to the woman behind the counter. He was there for at a minimum 10 minutes. I interrupted and kindly said to the employee " Can I do this transaction here" I was thinking he may have not noticed a person behind him. He continues with his story for several minutes until I put my one item on the counter. He left, I asked if it was store policy to keep customers waiting due to having a conversation. She replied he is a regular customer so she needs to be "nice".
Used the EV chargers here. I used the Tesla ones they connect within seconds to my Ford Lightning. Clean area and well laid out.
We only live two miles away, so it's convenient for us. The building used to be Hannaford, and we really don't like the changeover, even though it's been several years.
The size of the store makes it easy to get in and out quickly, especially if you're used to the layout, although sometimes things are changed around. However, the size also means they may not always carry what you want. Also I feel that, in general, they are on the pricey side. I don't usually buy their produce, though some of it is ok.
They seem a little too finicky to me. They charge $1.99 per transaction if you use your debit card and get cash back. I don't know any other store that does this! I recommend you bring your own bags, even though they don't give you credit for them. They charge six cents for a somewhat flimsy paper one.
The staff is friendly but doesn't always know how to tell you where to find items. I feel they all should be trained well in that department. The pharmacy staff is efficient and they have a good savings program, but the area is way too small! People sometimes wait in the supermarket aisles to pick up their meds or wait for vaccines.
Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces, but I feel the parking lot could use more cleanup and maintenance.
This next comment is not a reflection of the store, but shoppers, please clean out and return your carts! Parking them in the grass does not make things easier for the people who have to collect them.
Thank you, and Happy Shopping!
