The Chelsea at Greenburgh

Two years ago in 2023 my heart was broken, my family felt every emotion that a love one can feel from disbelief, anger to scared. We needed a safe and loving place for my aunt to reside at yet, still allow her to keep her independence and will to live after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We found that and more at Chelsea at Greenburgh, White Plains site. My aunt and our family found a new family who embrace us and helped us through this dark journey. Chelsea is an excellent establishment that has outstanding staff and it's safe, elegant, clean with full of activities for the residence. My aunt loved her new home, she love the staff and made many friends. She was independent, until she could not be early this July. And, then the staff in the Cottage Unit, went to the next level with the care they provided for both her and the family. The professionalism, compassion, and support that was shown from all the staff was outstanding. All my fears melted away once my aunt move to Chelsea, I will always be grateful.

My father has been living at the Chelsea for the last three months. It is not an easy transition to leave your home after sixty five years and the staff has made it seamless. With kindness and compassion my father has done exceedingly well! The staff makes you feel like the whole family is part of the assisted living experience. I can rest knowing my dad is not only taken care of physically but is taken care of emotionally. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My father moved into The Chelsea at Greenburgh in September and we couldn’t be happier with this decision. He took a bad fall at home in August and after rehabilitation we all realized that he wasn’t safe living by himself. Of course he just wanted to go back home but the entire staff were so welcoming, warm and caring that he’s adjusted to his new “home sweet Chelsea, home.” From the front desk staff, food service, Physical Therapist, activity directors, facility workers, management, to the amazing nursing staff this team works together to provide their residents with top notch care! We are lucky to live nearby and are able to visit often so able to see the consistency of the care the staff provides their residents.The building itself is beautiful, with many lovely common areas and a sunny front porch to enjoy the afternoon sun. I would highly recommend The Chelsea at Greenburg to anyone looking for an assisted living facility. Thank you to the staff for all you do every day!

I could not have had a better experience getting my parents moved in to The Chelsea. From the start, Francesca answered all my questions and guided me step by step with paperwork and procedure. Her compassion and understanding helped me get through a scary and stressful time. Since my parents have moved in, they have been treated with genuine care by all the staff. My parents are very happy with the extensive menu and dining options as well as the varied and engaging activities. I could not ask for a better environment for my parents to have the benefits of both amenities and health care while living in their beautiful, modern and sunny apartment. The Chelsea has provided excellent communication and attention to detail. I could not have chosen a better place for my parents.

The Chelsea is a beautiful, modern assisted living facility in Greenburgh/ White Plains where my Mom lived. She had a beautiful apartment, which she loved. The staff at The Chelsea were very good to my Mom and I really appreciate all the care and comfort they provided her. They have tons of activities there and my mom's favorite was when a musical guest came in. She always joined in that activity and even danced with her walker. If you have a loved one in need of assisted living, I recommend The Chelsea wholeheartedly.
