Risa Kirsh has been an amazing teacher, therapist, resource, and friend to our family. She is an extremely talented and insightful speech and language therapist who truly understands and reaches my kids. Always energetically listening, finding new creative ways as my kids grow, and seeing the BIG Picture. Risa is always willing to help guide us educationally, socially, and emotionally. The ability to communicate is one of the most important tools in a person's life, so when our child wasn't yet speaking and was nearly two years old we went to see Risa Kirsh for an evaluation. We got a specific diagnosis and treatment plan, and commenced a years-long journey in speech therapy, including several years into elementary school. It's nearly 20 years later and our college rising senior wouldn't be where he is today without Risa's assistance! We were far from the simplest or most complex case, but Risa and her TLC colleagues can help with it all. TLC can stand for many things, but for our family it represents Therapists with Love and Compassion for their patients!

Risa is one of the most dedicated SLPs we have ever had the privilege of working with! Our child has grown and gained so many skills throughout her time with Risa. She works on so much more than speech - reading comprehension and writing too! Our family has also worked with a number of other TLC professionals and no one disappoints! We were so lucky to be connected to TLC when we moved from the city 6 years ago. Risa is invaluable to our family and we are so grateful for her dedication over the years.
